I thought it might be nice to have a thread for paradise cooking recipes. There are some talented cooks among you for sure, so maybe you'd like to share your favourite recipes here :) Hawaiian recipes would of course be especially nice! I'm going to start with my personal favourite: Chicken Curry!

    Hawaiian Chicken Curry:

    Ingredients:

    200g basmati rice
    Salt
    500g chicken fillet
    3 onions
    1 can of pineapple, sliced
    2 tomatoes
    2 tablespoons oil
    1 tablespoon curry paste
    200ml coconut milk
    Pepper
    1 tablespoon lime juice
    50g Cheese (Gouda)
Chili and cocktail cherries for the garnish

    Preparation:

    Working time: approx. 40 Min.
Prepare the rice in salted water according to the package instructions.

In the meantime wash and dab dry the chicken fillet. Then cut into even strips. Clean the onion, wash and cut into strips. Drain the pineapple and collect the juice. Wash the tomatoes, clean them, cut them and core them. Cut the meat into thin strips.

Heat up the oil and fry the chicken fillet. Add the onions. Season with salt and curry paste. Add 100ml pineapple juice and coconut milk and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and lime juice.

Place the pineapple slices on heat-resistant plates. Spread the sliced meat over them. Shred the cheese and sprinkle over the meat. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 ° C / circulating air: 200 ° C / gas: stage 4) for approx. 5 minutes. Garnish with fine chillies and cocktail cherries and serve with the rice.
